Inspired by Eruka Frog from Soul Eater, the ERUKA TADPOLE ZIP HOODIE translates her amphibian, witch-like visual language into an elongated silhouette of exaggerated proportions and clashing textures.
Cut from soft stretch velvet, the hoodie features an extended body and extra-long sleeves, creating a close, elongated silhouette while retaining flexibility through movement. A full-length front zip allows the piece to shift between fitted and open forms.
Across the black dotted velvet, vivid acid-yellow motifs emerge in contrast. The oversized chandelier appliqué extending across the back is cut from premium cashmere, bringing an unexpectedly luxurious materiality to the graphic, almost cartoon-like imagery. Matching appliqué details continue across the front, while shaggy faux-fur trims frame the hood and shoulders.
The hood itself is constructed through a collage of contrasting woven textiles, raw-edged ruffles and decorative detailing, intensifying the deliberately mismatched, witch-like character of the piece.
